01 The ChallengeOur primary goals were to reduce the overall size, ensure clear visibility in direct sunlight, and design a resilient mounting system adaptable to multiple installation configurations.
02 The InspirationTo enhance the user experience, we adopted the familiar visual language of traffic lights, using high-contrast shapes and colors to enable quick and effortless recognition.
03 Design ExplorationMinimalist concept: a circular geometry minimizes occlusion, and a bio-inspired, conformal attachment (snail-like) enables secure mounting across diverse surface types.
04 User InterfaceWe kept control simple: three top-mounted buttons—Mode, “+”, and “–”. The layout invites use, while the feel is confidently firm and precise balanced resistance, a sharp click, and zero looseness.
05 Flexible MountRobust, easy-to-install mounting works on the dashboard or windshield and always holds the display correctly. The mechanism and entire system comply with all required automotive standards.
